Mike Miller, Former NBA Player and University of Memphis Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach, Hosts VIP Preview of His New Let It Fly Sports Bar Ahead of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational

Friends and guests of Mike Miller enjoyed a sneak preview of Let It Fly Sports Bar expected to open late August

MEMPHIS, TENN., July 30, 2019 – Mike Miller, former NBA player and University of Memphis men’s basketball assistant coach, hosted a VIP preview of his Let It Fly sports bar Tuesday, July 23 ahead of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Let It Fly sports bar is expected to open in late August and will offer chef-inspired sports bar fare, a full bar with taps devoted to craft beers made in the Memphis area, and features two Full Swing golf simulators. Let It Fly is located at 9091 Poplar Avenue and at www.LetItFlyMemphis.com.

 

“The week of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational was ideal for us to host a preview of Let It Fly sports bar to showcase some of the food and drinks the restaurant will offer as well as the two Full Swing golf simulators,” said Mike Miller, owner Let It Fly Sports Bar, former NBA Player, and University of Memphis Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach. “We expect to provide our guests great food, drinks, and service in a fun and casual environment when we open later this year.”

 

Guests enjoyed a catered barbecue dinner including a custom-bred and barbecued whole hog prepared by Melissa Cookston, a seven-time world barbecue champion, barbecue hall of fame inductee and owner of Memphis BBQ Company and Steak by Melissa restaurants. Music entertainment was provided by Memphis musician Charvey Mac.
