Longtime friends and colleagues, Cox and Shadyac are reuniting to welcome performances by musical guests MILCK, Street Corner Harmonies and poet IN-Q. Cox starred in Shadyac’s directing debut and blockbuster hit film “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.”  The two have remained professionally close over the years.  When Shadyac, founder of Memphis Rox, asked Cox for her help and support, she gladly stepped forward. Cox is well-known for playing Monica Geller on NBC’s hit show “Friends.” Just announced today, the “Friends” cast is set to reunite for an exclusive HBO Max special.

“Memphis Rox represents the best of what our world can be,” Cox said.  “Creating a space that focuses on health and wellness – a space that is welcoming and inclusive of all people from all backgrounds inspires me.  Even more so, is the organization’s commitment to never turn any child away regardless of their ability to pay.  That’s a worthy mission, indeed.”

“An Evening with Tom Shadyac and Friends” will feature performances by Los Angeles Pop Singer and Songwriter MILCK, Multiplatinum Songwriter, Award-Winning Poet and World-Renowned Keynote Speaker IN-Q, as well as performances by the STAX Academy Vocal Ensemble Street Corner Harmonies.

“I am deeply grateful to Courteney and all of my friends for joining me for this important event,” Shadyac said.”  Not only do we promise an amazing evening filled with talented entertainment, equally as important, we will be helping assure that no child is ever turned away from Memphis Rox for their inability to pay. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this important night will support our worthy mission and the at-risk members of our community who turn to One Family Memphis and Memphis Rox to serve as a positive force in their lives and the lives of their families.”
