Volunteer Memphis Announces 2019 Awards Dinner for Thursday, June 27

Annual Awards Recognize Those That Give of Themselves to Make the Mid-South a Better Place

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 23, 2019 – Volunteer Memphis will host the 2019 Volunteer Memphis Awards on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Memphis Botanic Garden, 750 Cherry Road. Presented by International Paper and Central BBQ, the Volunteer Memphis Awards Dinner is open to the public.

“Our 2019 Annual Awards seek to illustrate the power of volunteerism to raise awareness and inspire others to give back by recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations whose unselfish dedication to service has made a significant difference in the community,” said Andrea Hill, director for Volunteer Memphis. “We look forward to recognizing volunteers, volunteer administrators, civic groups, nonprofits, and companies who have been nominated from throughout the Mid-South.”

The 2019 Annual Volunteer Memphis Awards are presented by International Paper and Central BBQ and sponsored by FedEx, Memphis Tourism, The Memphis Flyer, WREG-TV, First Tennessee Foundation, Buckman, ServiceMaster, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and Comcast.
