Volunteer Memphis Awards Finalists Announced

MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 20, 2019 – Volunteer Memphis is proud to announce the finalists for the 2019 Volunteer Memphis Awards. The diverse group of individuals, civic groups, non-profits, and companies represents excellence in volunteerism across the Mid-South. Finalists will be honored and winners announced at the annual Volunteer Memphis Awards Luncheon on June 27, 2019, at the Memphis Botanic Garden. “Volunteer Memphis is honored to continue highlighting the power of volunteerism in hopes that it inspires individuals and organizations to strive for new levels of giving back,” said Andrea Hill, director for Volunteer Memphis. “This year’s finalists represent the many outstanding volunteers, volunteer administrators, civic groups, nonprofits, and companies that are making a difference in communities across in Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby, and Tipton counties in Tennessee, DeSoto, Tate, and Tunica counties in Mississippi, and Crittenden County in Arkansas.”

The annual Volunteer Memphis Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations throughout the Mid-South whose selfless dedication to service has made a significant difference in the community. The awards seek to illustrate the power of volunteerism to raise awareness and inspire others to give back.
